Hi everyone,
I’m Luca, I’m 33, and travelling has always been my dream.
For various reasons I never had the chance to travel much: only now and then, like so many of us, trying to find something authentic even in the few weeks of holiday each year.
Then a 40-day trip to Thailand completely changed my life.
I found myself again, and I met the woman who became my partner in life and in adventure, Sally.
So what does travel mean to me? Travel as rediscovery. Travel as the unknown.
Every time you pack your bag, there’s that feeling of having forgotten something. We could spend whole days looking for that one missing thing. But, just like in life, at some point it’s important to take the leap.
And so, two new journeys have begun: my camper van journey with Sally, and the journey of the World Unique Journal, the travel diary of World Unique Journey.
Here we’ll tell our journeys stop by stop: the places, the people we meet, the real moments that don’t fit in a photo. The writers will be us, the people behind World Unique Journey: me, Luca, together with Simone, Federica and Andrea, each from our own travels.
We start in the American South: three weeks in a camper van from Miami to Dallas, through Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.
Then, in December, the backpack moves to Southeast Asia: two months across Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, some of the places where our group journeys are born.
Follow us here and on Instagram. Every stop will have its story.
Big hug!
