A journey into the heart of authentic Africa, among endless landscapes, golden savannahs and unforgettable encounters with nature and local cultures. We begin in Nairobi — with the thrill of a safari in the only national park in the world within a capital — then climb to the forests of the Aberdares and the wild lands of Samburu, with its rare species and semi-arid scenery.
We cross the Rift Valley, meet the great rhinos of the Solio Conservancy and sail on Lake Naivasha, all the way to the legendary Masai Mara, where every game drive becomes an indelible memory. We sleep in lodges immersed in nature, with a professional Italian-speaking guide — an experience for those who don't seek a simple holiday, but a real connection with a place and its soul.

ITINERARY

Flight from Italy to Nairobi. Overnight on board.
With flight included: departure from Milan Malpensa on 17 January or 22 February, depending on the chosen period.
Own flight: you must arrive in Nairobi on 18 January or 23 February respectively.

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, welcome and transfer to the hotel. (Eka Hotel · bed & breakfast)

Morning game drive in Nairobi National Park, the only one in the world within a capital.
Visit to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, with its orphaned elephants.
In the afternoon, we head to the Aberdares and reach a lodge overlooking a floodlit waterhole visited by wildlife. (The Ark Lodge · full board)

Departure for the semi-arid landscapes of Samburu.
Arrival for lunch and, in the afternoon, a first game drive among Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe and Somali ostrich. (Samburu Sopa Lodge · full board)

A full day of safari in search of elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs and the "Samburu Special Five."
Visit to a traditional Samburu village (included).

A game drive at the Solio Conservancy, one of the world's finest sanctuaries for black and white rhinos, alongside buffalo, giraffe and antelope.

Moderate physical effort (3/5): no special fitness needed, but full days and long drives on unpaved roads
Passport valid at least 6 months from entry, with one blank page

Some journeys begin with a plane ticket. Mine began with a choice.
After ten years as a social worker, I chose a life with more freedom, time and authenticity. Today I work as an independent professional guardian, with responsibility, empathy and trust — the same values I bring to my travels.
I don’t collect destinations, but rather emotions, encounters and stories, far from mass tourism. In 2019, I set off alone for Kenya: since then, Africa has been a part of my heart, and in 2024 I returned there with Stefano for our symbolic wedding within the Giriama tribe.
This is the spirit of our group trips: we start with Africa and discover the world with a curious, respectful and authentic outlook. Because the most beautiful journey isn’t the one that takes you far away, but the one that brings you home with a new perspective.
