Some journeys begin with a destination. Ours begin with a person.

I was born and raised in Lugano, between long lunches in rustic grotti by the lake and trails that climb straight into the mountains. It taught me that real experiences rarely ask you to choose between comfort and adventure. They hold both.

I’m an educator and pedagogist, working with young people with autism, Down syndrome and other cognitive and behavioural differences. That work taught me to listen before speaking and to meet every person exactly where they are. Real connection rarely depends on language. It depends on presence.

I carry that lesson wherever I travel, camera in hand, looking for what makes a place real: a recipe cooked the same way for generations, a stranger’s invitation to share a meal.

The same instinct led me to co-found D&A Rent Solutions in Ticino, and then World Unique Journey. When you travel with us, you’re not a booking number. You’re a guest, in the truest sense of the word.
